The Montreal Canadiens are in the first round of the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs. On Friday, they defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-0 in game four of the Stanley Cup Playoff Qualifier series from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario. For Canadiens goaltender Carey Price of Anahim Lake, British Columbia, it was his sixth career playoff shutout.

Price, a Canadian Olympic gold medalist, made 22 saves on Friday, as Montreal beat Pittsburgh to win the best of five series three games to one. It was once again a sensational game for Canadiens captain and Canadian Olympic gold medalist Shea Weber of Sicamous, British Columbia, who scored a key insurance marker for his second goal of the series. Weber won a gold medal for Canada at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver and the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, while Price won a gold medal for Canada at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi.

About career
The career is an individual’s metaphorical “journey” through learning, work and other aspects of life. There are a number of ways to define career and the term is used in a variety of ways.

Price’s five previous shutouts were all with the Canadiens. Ironically the first four came against the Boston Bruins. They came on April 15, 2008, in a 1-0 Montreal win, on April 21, 2008, in a 5-0 Montreal win, on April 14, 2011, in a 2-0 Montreal win, and on May 12, 2014, in a 4-0 Montreal win. Price’s other shutout came on April 26, 2015, in a 2-0 Montreal win over the Ottawa Senators.

The Canadiens were the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference. They were one of two 12th seeds to advance to the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Friday. The other was the Chicago Blackhawks, who beat the Edmonton Oilers 3-2 in game four of their series. Canadian Olympic gold medalist and Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews of Winnipeg, Manitoba, led the Blackhawks in scoring with two assists. Like Weber, Toews won gold medals for Canada at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver and the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi.
