How the 24-workforce playoff layout works

The NHL shared the “aggressive format” for the 24-workforce playoff setup for a way the 2020 NHL playoffs will work. The “spherical robin” pertains to the seeding for the highest 4 teams in each and every conference. The “qualifying round” has prior to now been known as a “play-in” round.
