About reveals
Reveal or Revealed may refer to:

The huge price drops are due to a combination of discounts encouraged by two new government policies: a VAT cut for restaurants which can then be transferred to reduced menu prices, and the introduction of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, which offers a 50 per cent discount on dine-in meals, capped at £10 a head.

The peri-peri chicken restaurants have said that they have passed on the full 12.5 per cent VAT discount onto their menus, allowing its diners to save on their order.

This means that – on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August when the Eat Out to Help Out discount can be used – a quarter chicken portion will cost diners just £1.85.

Prices vary slightly between locations, but other example savings include being able to get a half chicken and two sides for just £4.90, and a double chicken burger with two regular sides for around £4.48.

Nando’s customers should remember, however, that the Eat Out to Help Out scheme only applies discounts to dine-in meals, and the restaurant chain only currently has 10 restaurants open across the country offering eat-in service. It is expected to announce more reopenings soon.

Still, fans of the restaurant on social media shared their excitement over the offer, with one saying “Quarter peri peri chicken and two sides for £3.38????? Nando’s is going to know me by first name basis throughout August”, and another commenting “In the month of August you’ll find me at Nando’s or at Nando’s”.

Others expressed concern at the popularity of the discounts, with one saying they “can see it now, people queueing for 2 hours to get their Nando’s for £3.50”.

You can see the full menu with the VAT discount already applied , and dishes will effectively be offered at 50 per cent off on the Eat Out to Help Out days, as long as you don’t spend more than £20 per head.
