Toy Story 3 director confirms horrifying fan thought about the toys

Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich has said that Woody and the gang are capable of dying.

Unkrich said as such online earlier this month, after a fan tweeted him saying: ‘my girlfriend and i are having a big fight bc i think the toys from Toy Story are immortal and she thinks they can die [sic].’

To this the director replied: ‘They live as long as they exist. But if they were to be utterly destroyed? Say, in an incinerator? Game over,’

Toy Story 3 came out in 2010, following 1995’s Toy Story and 1999’s Toy Story 2. Toy Story 4 followed in 2019.
